This is my credit history:
1 year of fully paid credit on the card
1 year of cosigned auto loan on 05 scion tc. 11k bought and 9 k borrowed on 4 year term but ahead of payments till march 2012 and gonna put another 2-3 months ahead of payment as well.

I don’t know my actual credit score. I don’t want to use my once a year check.

1. Should I use my free credit score check before 2012?
2. What kind of credit card can I get that improves my credit and is more flexible for me?

Would I qualify for a 300,000 home loan?

I am looking at a condo in Las Vegas, asking 9,000. I am a Veteran and qualify for a VA loan obviously. I have ,000 in cash saved up, and wouldn’t want to pay more than ,000 down payment…. tops. I would probably pay ,000 down. I am 23, this will be my first home/condo purchase, and i have a credit score of 745. I will be attending college in Vegas, and under the new GI Bill, i will be paid 76 / month tax-free for 9 months of the year (Sep-May… school year). I have a job lined up with my friends father making 2,500 a month after taxes. I have a car payment of 0/month, and a credit card with about 2,000 on it. I would like to know whether or not I qulify for a 300,000 loan. Iike i said, im getting out of the army next month, and will be buying/working in august, starting school in sept.

As of this mornig, the VA 30-year fixed was a 5.01 %, and my home bank is offering 4.875% for 3–year fixed. if that helps??? any info would be appreciated. thanks

Balance Transfer to pay off Car loan…was this a good move?

Ok in 2003 I purchased my car for ,900 at 7.25%. Payments were approx 380 a month. I have 00 left on the loan and decided to xfer the balance to my credit card. They offered me a 0% on Bal xfers for one year and about a 3% fee to xfer. (I have a 0 balance on this card)

it looks like a good idea because I do not want to give the bank more free money…let alone the amount I already gave up until this point.

What do you think?

And for future references – is it better or worse for your Credit Score to have a car loan and just pay is off….or transfer the bal to a 0% CC and pay that off with the interest?

Can your credit be effected for not paying overdraft fees for a debit card?

About 3 years ago my girlfriend had bank of america and they charged her all these overdraft fees (it was bull crap) so she decided to cancel her card and not pay them. She still gets a letter or call once in awhile from collections (like every 4 months now) but she ignores them. Now we’re looking for a new apartment, but I’m scared her credit has been effected for not paying her overdraft fees? My parents said this was possible. (we’re both only 19) what are the chances of her credit being bad? I’ve been trying to get a credit report but those free credit score websites are b.s. and won’t give me the score.
she’s never had a credit card, only a debit card, btw.
I tried and it didn’t work. It’s not free.
to Ed, I understand what an overdraft is. She’s not being immature you don’t know the WHOLE story. Banks do scam people sometimes. I appreciate the answer but you could do without the rudeness.
And also we knew there’d be some type of penalty for not paying debt. She wasn’t ignoring it, she was FULLY aware that she was ignoring debt and she didn’t think it’d "magically" disappear. I just wasn’t sure if what type of penalty it’d be we are only 19 and still trying to figure all this stuff out.

Parents, I need help learning how to boost my credit. Business and Finance section is slow tonight…?

Our mortgage consultant advised us to wait one year to get enough income statements to get a pre-approval. So what can we do until then to boost our credit?

*How do you use/pay your credit cards? Pay them off every month, double the minimum due, etc.?
*If we have 6 months left of a car loan, should we double the payments and pay it off in 3 months or just keep paying /month extra?
*If my husband is just an authorized user on our credit card in my name, does that mean it doesn’t show on his credit?

And lastly, can you really get a FREE credit score report? I know how to get a free credit report but the scores themselves. Do you always have to pay?

Feel free to offer any other advice. I really want to give my kids the house I never had so I will do anything to make that possible. Thanks. :)

how much credit do a gain a month from my credit card?

whats an estimate of how much my credit score goes up, its a capital one journey card, i usually only put about half of my limit on the card before i pay, (0), ive paid it for 3 months now, coming up on 4, i know thats not alot of time, but will i notice a difference in my credit score?, i thought the credit card companys sent your score on your statements, i guess not lol, and i dont want to do one of those free credit check things, because there not free and i dont want to mess up my credit

gypsybug.com?

i signsd up for that window program it cost 19.95 and i had to sign up three before i could get paid i was scammed by a state rep at gypsybug.com i ran several ads referred hundreds of people yet i only get credit for 3 then recently one of my 3 quit now i cant get paid unless i have a sign up oh and theybilled my credit card 2 timesfor 19.95 in which i was not informed so i had to cancel my credit card so they wouldnt charge it anymore, then they change the rules and say now they charge 19.95 a month to advertise for them craigs list is free duh, then out of my earnings of 37.00 for a month they take 19.95 of that to and then try to pepper my credit card again i had to call and contest it, before i ever got started in ther program, i paid them 20.00 they paid me 23.00 dollars but yet charge my credit card 40.00 dollars ok now this is crazy!! no way all this crap for a 2 dollar profit haveing to turn my credit card off so they would leave it alone affects my credit score!!!!

Refinance Land?

I am confused, I own 20 Acres of land that I owe ,000 on. I want to pull out 3 acres and have it free and clear. And refinance the 17 remaining still owing the ,000. Speaking with a local Real Estate agent he says the appraisal should fall between 000-000.

My problem is the bank its financed with wants 00 to release the 3 acres.(They have been bought out since I originally financed it with them and been very difficult to deal with since). I spoke to other lenders and have been told that since this is investment property I will have to prove my income(I need a stated income loan). My credit scores range from 686 to 729. I have enough cash to pay the loan off but I would only have about ,000 left and being self-employed thats a lil scary.

My bank offered me a credit card of ,000 or a personal loan for the ,000. How can I get a cc for 25k but not borrow 40% of the value of the land and they get the deed?

Am I missing something?

Is my mom hurting my credit score?

My mom added me onto her credit card when I was younger to help build my credit score and account length. The reason I’d like to keep myself under the card is because it has a ,000 credit limit, and is my oldest card, opened in 2003. I personally have 2 cards, one opened 2008 and one in 2010. The problem is that the card she opened for me has about 00 on it. Now my mom IS responsible and I know she will get rid of the balance, but is it worth the wait? I just got my 3 free credit reports and I’m thinking of disputing my moms cards, but I’m not sure if I should. What would you do? My credit score on CreditKarma shows 740, so it doesn’t seem to be affecting me too bad?
